Molina Healthcare VP, Mergers & Acquisitions - Managed Care Organizations in Georgetown, Kentucky

Job Summary

The VP, Mergers & Acquisitions leads the transaction sourcing and execution for Molina. This includes target pipeline development, due-diligence management, projection development, valuation, deal structuring and contract negotiation, including other key tasks in advance of deals being signed to validate that there is a strategic fit between the companies involved. The VP works closely with the legal team and other subject matter experts from across the organization (health plan operations, shared services, human resources and finance).

Job Duties

  • Oversees, plans, and directs the organization's efforts to achieve growth through mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and structured partnership.

  • Identifies, analyzes, and diligences potential transactions and evaluates impact on the corporation's growth and profitability.

  • Participates in deal negotiations.

  • Partners with the SVP, Corporate Development to establish overall direction for the function.

Job Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • 10 years of leadership experience in M&A, including business case and financial model development with significant exposure to managed care

  • Ability to expose risks in diligence, along with the potential impact each risk carries at a financial and business operations level

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Master’s Degree in Business Administration

Pay Range: $214,131.6 - $417,556.62 / ANNUAL
